June 14th, 2024 Friday Night Market starts the new year off excellently

Last Friday, The Town of Elizabeth and Elizabeth Brewing Company hosted their first Friday Night Market of the year. Were you one of the roughly 1,200 people that attended? The Town has been working with EBC and taking feedback to enhance the experience of these events by creating a vendor alley, signing up a variety of in-demand bands, and providing more food truck options. The work they’ve put in has paid off as this event keeps getting bigger and better! In this market, there were eight different food trucks and fifteen various vendors, all of which were local and small businesses that wanted to reach the community.

Though the food was great and music by The Atomic Drifters was even better, the highlight was by far the electric atmosphere that the people of our community brought. Everybody is welcomed to this free event and included in some way, the sounds of cheers, laughter, and joy could be heard throughout the night from patrons of all ages. That's the charm of Elizabeth. In these markets, there are feelings and people you won't experience anywhere else, and all it takes is the short trip into Elizabeth’s Running Creek Park to make nights like this memorable for the whole family.
