What an Eventful Summer at Running Creek Park!
Friday Night Markets Were a Huge Success
Summer 2024 was a success! The Town of Elizabeth and The Elizabeth Brewing Company hosted 10 markets every Friday starting on June 14th. Those markets had various bands performing all genres of music. Community support was given to food trucks plus over 30 different vendors and businesses who set up shop each week. This season was one of our most popular, averaging 1000-1500 attendees at each market.
People were smiling while hanging out with old and new friends. The three specialty-themed markets included custom brews, vintage cars, trains and tractors as well as games like corn hole, connect four and giant Jenga for people to play while listening to the music. Adults and kids enjoyed dancing to popular tunes throughout the night.
Thank you to everyone who came out to see the markets and supported our local businesses. We hope you had as much fun as we did! Coming again in Summer 2025.
The Elizabeth Brewing Company Donated Over $2000 to Local Non-Profits
In addition to a custom brew at the specialty themed markets, The Elizabeth Brewing Company donated a portion of their proceeds to a local non-profit. From the Red, White and Brews specialty market on July 5, EBC donated $520 to the American Legion. During the second themed Mainline Market, they donated $520 to the Elbert County Historical Society & Museum. Beer with the Deer, our final market, resulted in a $1,200 donation from EBC to Elizabeth High School to help with the construction of their auto shop on campus. Thank you to all for supporting EBC by buying beer and to EBC for continuing to give back to our community.
